The Graf Spee would be the first German ship completed with only Oil-fired boilers, turbo-electric turbines, and the first german warship with Turtleback Armor. The premier German warship for over 15 years, she pioneered many German shipbuilding innovations. Initally intended to be scrapped, the unexpected emergence of a strong post-WW1 Soviet Navy, the German Fleet Scuttle at Scapa Flow, and the post-fire scrapping of Weissach led the Graf Spee being completed in 1927. The sole member of the Graf Spee Class, she was developed in conjuction with the Nassau-class battleship.īy the end of WW1, only her keel had been completed. The Graf Spee was Germany's largest warship until the commissioning of the battleship Hutton in 1942. It's also good if you get a T9 battle in random but that's only 1/3 of the time and still a T8 CV can beat you up badly if they choose to.The Graf Spee was a unique German battlecruiser completed after the conclusion of WW!. The only time it's really strong is in T9 ranked battles where there's no CV's obviously, and it can't be downtiered. It's become this legend really :) Think of it as a nerfed Yamato that can still see T11 with virtually no AA. In my opinion that's way too much for ANY ship, plus it's not as great as everyone seems to think. It drops from super containers and Christmas crates tho it's considered a rare drop even in those. But several of the most talked and revered ships of the game are among them (Belfast, Benham, Entreprise, Graf Spee, Missouri, Musashi, Nelson).Ĭan you get Musashi out of a container? Last time I saw that was in the lighthouse for what amounted to about a gazillion doubloons :) Yep.
